Recently we announced that The State Museum would re-open on July 22.  However, our parent state agency, the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission is delaying the reopening of state-owned historic sites and museum – including The State Museum – until further notice.

With COVID-19 cases increasing across the country, we need to take every precaution possible to prevent a surge here in Pennsylvania. Please continue to watch our website and social media for important updates as to our eventual reopening.
